[Hand Maid May]

A really easy costume, but I did like getting a chance to make the Plue and Nakajima dolls!!

I hate taking photos...wait no, I like that, I just wish they would come out better!! *has horrible time thinking of poses* heh heh heh

Oooo nice attitude in the second pic. I really like how the shirt came out, its got a perfect balance between the red and white, and the symbol is the right proportion as well.

I overall like it, and nice job using real hair, but maybe you shouldn't have used platform boots. XD

It looks good. I'm not sure if she ever wears her hair in pigtails (I'm sure she might someplace tho ^_^;, tho. Anyway, if you wanna improve it, just try to get brown boots, although the ones that you used look nice, too.

Did you do a manga version? I looked for reference pics for the anime version, and she has a normal miniskirt, not a pleated one--although I think hte pleated one really helps with the cute-anime-girl loo. ^_^;;

One question--Did you use felt for the symbol on the front? It came out really accurate.

umm lets see.....I painted the cross on the front of the shirt with some really nice fabric paint. It doesn't crack when it gets stretched so I like that.

hahhahaha yeah, the shoes, I already had those from highschool, they were already a half size too small but there was no way I was gonna buy new thigh high boots when I never even wore the ones I had...I thought about making boot covers, but I decided it would be better to play it safe!!

Yeah, I found the pleated skirt at a thrift store, I know it wasn't right, but it was there so I bought, ad yeah, I did kinda want it pleated for that whole anime look. I really like this character so when I find a good denim skirt I am gonna switch them!! (and remake the belt so it has tonfa holders....!)

It is actually the anime version. I dont know if she ever wears her hair in pigtails, but my hair was really long at the time, for another costume I was wearing that weekend, I don't do well with wigs, and I was supposed to have a griffon hat to stuff my hair under but it didn't come in time.....my hair is actually braided and then looped back around...it was all I could think of to make it short.....

...I did end up making a griffon hat to wear to JTAF, I wonder if any good pics of it came out.....

well.... if I remember well the shirt is a little bit shorter, also the skirt, and the hair... well you need to get a "Yuna" wig (Yuna from FF X2), but the details are ok, even you got your mushi XD kawaii desu ne
