so what about this pattern by simplicity? I've only seen it online (I'm going to look for it tomorow) http://www.simplicity.com/p-5394-mis...-costumes.aspx

to me the legnht looks good and the dress over all/ neck line is too low and the shirt is questionable IMO the sholder things would have to go theres a kinda ruffle there >_<

The skirt part works, but the bodice is way too far off I think.

Thanks Meiki for the updated list!

...And I just noticed this wasn't a sticky yet. ^_^; I agree, it should be. So, it is stuck now, and replaces the old one. *poof* (In the future, feel free to drop a pm to the mods &/or "report thread" if you need other threads stuck as well.)

@ Meiki
as it turns out it's all one peice O_o I may add it to the bodice from the other dress I did.

however I think it looks kinda like this dress I came across on F+F
http://www.LUMBERJACKED!.com/servlet...ard-%26/Detail
what do you think? I don't know a lot about the site >_<

ajusting the straps and adding a peice to rais the center perhaps adding lace across the top to seperate and give the illusion of parts where there are not ? >_<

I honestly think they should make Meiki an honorary moderator in this forum because she's pretty amazing.

Can you please add Strawberry Teaparty? It's a new brand.

I would like to share another website where I've made a successful purchase (3 times now actually!). They are in Taiwan. They are super nice, and their prices are so great considering they will custom tailor everything to your measurements! And color preferences (you don't have to order the pictured color)

Here's the link; have fun, you will get lost for a while in the dress pages, or at least I did ^^
http://www.trustedeal.com/Wholesale-...hing_c455.html
(They have a lot more than just Lolita things too, cosplay costumes, formal dresses even, etc)

PS - yeah, not to sound too cheesy but if you do decide to order, perhaps you could use me as the referral? If not that's okay, enjoy looking anyway! ^^; wisteareia@yahoo.com (but take the dashes out)

I don't think I would feel comfortable linking Trustedeal. They've been spotted as a Milanoo clone: http://community.livejournal.com/egl/15911979.html and have an equally suspicious copy & pasted lj account: http://trustedeal.livejournal.com/ Their pictures are also stolen from various brands, which is a sign of suspicious behavior and generally a no-no in the lolita community.

Sorry, I know it might sound a little harsh, and it's great that you've had a good experience with them, but these sorts of things are stuff to look out for and I just wouldn't feel comfortable pointing people towards them.

I surprised that they not only steal from brands, but also a lot of taobao stock pictures as well. :/

I'd go with an extra two feet to a yard. You probably won't need that much but it's better to be safe and get a little extra.
