Street Fighter Cammy arm gaurds help?

So I'm planning on cosplaying Cammy from Street Fighter
http://streetfighter.wikia.com/wiki/...FAnthology.jpg
http://streetfighter.wikia.com/wiki/...-sidefixed.jpg
http://streetfighter.wikia.com/wiki/File:Snk-cammy.jpg

And as far as I've seen, there isn't any questions about making her arm gaurds.
So does anyne have any tips? I know how to make bofferig weapons but I would like to make the slick like the real ones without padding and duck tape xD;;;

Soooo help?

2 base methods come to mind: cardboard and craft foam. Jia has a great cardboard base tutorial you can use. This is a great choice considering that most of the materials are household items. I have no experience experience using a craft foam base, but it seems popular among many prop armor makers.
