Need help ASAP

I'm trying to find a tutorial for making a leather look jacket. I'm trying to make Squall Leonhart's jacket from FF8. I'm having major issues with drafting a pattern/finding a pattern to alter, and whether to do it in a lightweight vinyl or a different leather-look fabric. if anyone can give me some pointers it would be greatly appreciated as I'm on a time limit.
Thanks!

I couldn't find a tutorial on making a duck bill on site, just some references.http://www.cosplay.com/costume/103758/ This member looks like he'd be the most help. It looks like he made his of craftfoam. Like what you'd find at Hobby Lobby or what they use for kids visors. Off line I found this.http://crafts.123peppy.com/how-to-make-a-duckbill/248and thishttp://puppetsandstuff.com/community...p?topic=4865.0. Hope it helps.

Folkwear has several vintage patterns. Including this blonde bombshell pattern and a rosie the riviter pattern.http://www.folkwear.com/239.html There are 17 or so USO Girls on this site and a facebook site Captain America USO that many refer to on and off the site.

Just one thing...when you go to throw a salute, please do is right. Imagine you have on a pair of glasses. Bring your right hand to the tip/hinge of this imaginary glasses and hold until the salute is returned. I would worry about them return the salute though. Unless, they are military or former military many won't know they need to return the salute.

Try this pattern from simplicityhttp://www.simplicity.com/p-2198-men-costumes.aspx and try Amazon Dry Goodshttp://www.amazondrygoods.com/catego...erns/mens.html. They aren't the book store. As far as I know they've been around far longer. I have one of there catalogue around here somewhere. Recently I found they started posting the catalogue online. They have a very good reputation. Since your into Hetalia you might want to past the site on, the have several military jacket patterns...

Green Army Men

My girlfriend and I are going to be going to Megacon in Orlando, Florida next year and we're going to dress up as those toy green soldiers from when we were little kids.

Usually these toys are WW2 era, but we're going for a more modern approach.

The only thing I'm concerned about with this outfit, is painting the clothes. Can anyone give me some useful tips for painting boot, pants, jacket, helmet, gun, and gloves? I don't want them to be all sticky afterwards and what not.

Thanks!

What time frame are you looking at? What era I mean? Almost any dress can be made into a maid uniform. Do you want a long skirt, short or really short? Do you want frillies and a puffy petticoat? Is there a particuliar anime maid you want to copy?

Try looking up Weeping Angels on this site. Sewing/Fabric Craft, Makeup and Eye Contacts, General Contruction Help, and the TV/ Movie/Musical (live action) forums will be a good place to start looking. TV/ Movie/ Musical has a Doctor Who thread. Doctor Who Confidential has pointers about Weeping Angels. Off site look up living statues clothing and makeup tutorials. There looks to be a lot on makeup, mostly on you tube. Just googling Living Statues however will bring up ads for work.

For me the easiest way to do that would be to put a partical lining at the hem and cuffs or a full lining through the whole shirt.

I'm looking for tutorial on pointy ears. I suppose elf ears would work. I don't wanna know where to get them, I want to know how to make them. Preferably if it tells you how to change the color of it since my character has a different skin tone than a human's.
