Anyone know a good way to make this Amon's arm guards, shoulder plates, etc.? If anyone knows how to make/acquire a good mask, that would also be nice.

Try Folkwear patterns, Amazon Drygoods, and Past Patterns. They all carry/make military coat patterns, etc.

It looks easy enough that you wouldn't need a tutorial. (Famous last words and all...) I'd try a hobby/ craft store like Micheal's and Hobby Lobby. I've seen many of those shapes in the craft section and model plane section of said stores. Wood glue and a Mitter box and your set. (A Mitter box is what they use to put picture frames together.) See if you can borrow the Mitter box from a family member who does wood working.

P.S. The circular pieces are called spacers and can be found at any hardware or farm supply store, at least I think they can.

trench/long coat

Hey guys! Im going to be doing a cosplay of Trafalgar Law from One Piece in his timeskiped version where he has a trench/long coat used in winter areas. Does anyone know any tutorials on how to make or alter coats? Anything will help!

There are several long coat pattens in Simplicity costume and I think Folkwear. The most notable is the Matrix knockout coat and the Car Riding clothes. I believe Folkwear has a men's riding coat and the car coats as well. They also have dusters.

I'm looking for a tutorial on how to make Kishin Asura's weapon from Soul Eater. The problem is that the material and paint has to be safe enough to put in your mouth because that's the way he has it. Here a ref. pic:

Try looking under the props/armour/accessories forum. Typing in nontoxic and materials I got two results and more when I typed in in nontoxic and paint. I know it's not a tutorial, but it's a place to start.

I haven't been able to find this but, does anyone have a tutorial for making Odin's Zantetsuken from Final Fantasy XIII? Hopefully not too difficult since thus might be my first wood project. Thank you! ^^
