Hey there again,
I'm looking for some sort of tutorial for Chell's jumpsuit/portal gun/long fall boots from Portal. (The Portal 2 boots, though..) I know that there is a lot of threads discussing it, but I need an actual tutorial (I'm completely imcompetent with these sort of things, I need someone to draw it out for me.)

Here are some options. I goggled long fall boots tutorial and got a few hints including someone who painted socks. http://wakingupinbakerstreet.tumblr....st/28423069055

As for patterns for jumpsuit try either simplicity 2849 or folkwear 240. Which ever will be easier for you to modify. You can make a belt to go with the simplicity pattern.

Thank you for the pictures. The best answer I can give you is, use folkwear pattern 145http://www.folkwear.com/145.html and a simple skirt pattern as the base. Then use another possibly sheer fabric bunched and sewn to the base, like the prom dresses that have been appearing lately. Example:http://www.ulovebridal.com/cheap-prom-dresses-c131.html
The PJ top would have to be gathered at the bottom like a sweat suit and you can draft a pattern for the skirt or find a simple one through simplicity or McCall's and use that as a base too. I'm sorry I can't be a better help. Although I'd highly suggest making a muslin.

Thank you for the pictures, both links are working. I still say: "There are several cloak patterns you can alter. Try looking at the romantic cloak from Folkwear and there are several from Simplicity."

Also, the boots look like they can be bought and added to. Many of the cosplays I've seen look like they just used store bought knee pads. And the body suit can be made or bought. Try looking in a Bike shop for both the knee pads and suit.

Finally, I'd suggest PMing Starlit Rose,http://www.cosplay.com/costume/20776/. She has the best cosplay of Chole I could find on this site and though my searching. Hopefully she can give suggestions. She made both the cloak and bodysuit from scratch.

I'm looking for a good tutorial on making custom beads using clear resin or epoxy. I've seen plenty of them on making jewels or gems to put on jewelry but haven't found one on making stringable(sp?) beads. Any help would be great.

Thanks a bunch. I'm sure I can find some thing good there. My goal with this costume is to make absolutely every. The beads aren't the highest priority as they can be bought as a last resort but I'm trying to find plenty of good guides so I won't have to resort to that.

Hi, I wanna cosplay Shaina from Saint Seiya, but I'm having a really hard time trying to figure out how to make her mask and still be able to see. I don't know if there is a tutorial around here that could help me with this.

There are several options out there. The easiest I can think of is using a full blank mask like sohttp://www.joann.com/mask-it-full-mask/prd44466/ and covering the eyes with white buckrum or similiar. Look under the props section of the site. Use +mascot and +mask in the search engine or +face +covering +mask. Each brings up several options mascot mask is the best. CelestialShadow is also looking to get rid of her mask.

Other costumes that you can look at for face coveing is Deadpool from Marvel Comics.

Hi,
I'm pretty new at this and was wondering how to get patterns/designs and such onto clothing?
When I did sakura from naruto, I just used an iron on transfer and cut out the shape from the fabric, but this time Im doing Boa Hancock and her patterns are larger and more ornate.

This is Boa:
