Hi, I'm on a super tight budget and I know this isn't exactly cosplay (it's lolita) but I want to know if anyone could help me by either giving me a link to a free/cheap pattern or by making one similar to the Lolita Jacquard Square Neckline Ball Dress by Fanplusfriend?

You would need to do some editing but there's this pattern http://images.patternreview.com/sewi.../3637/3637.jpg
In case the link doesn't work it's simplicity pattern 3637, I believe it's out of print but plenty of people sell them online.

Sorry. This post and picture did show, but because your a new account it was delayed. There are alot of patterns out there that would do. On the historical side many companies have a men's frock coat. Simplicity and Mccall's both have several options. Almost any fabric will do. Say away from heavy weights and really light weights. If your a new sewer then nothing slippery.

i'm looking for this sleeve tutorial http://browse.deviantart.com/?q=exce...splay#/d1oov5g excel saga sleeve but i need construction pictures i cant' follow steps with words its easier on me if there are pictures, but i cant' find any patterns and directions for this =( I make my own pattern but i'm clueless about these sleeves
