I'm looking for an aviator-esque hat tutorial... I'm new to sewing and pattern making so I don't know where to start, if anyone knows where I can find (or create!) a decent pattern for the hat in the following picture's it would be so so so helpful and I would forever be in your debt. <3

Hey there Cosplay People. I'm looking to do a cosplay of Kite from the .hack games (The first 4), I was wondering if there were any tutorials or other guides that could help out with this. I've never ever made a costume before or even touched a needle in my life. But I've got a year to put the costume together, and I'd really like to build most of it by myself.

Found several likely link by googling. Also try the Disney thread on this site.

Cosplaytutorial.com has a link for the hat and you can try looking under the video games subforum at the .hack thread.

If you're talking about Neo from the Matrix, simplicity made a pattern you can use (ebay sells them for $5+) and here's a review of it: http://sewing.patternreview.com/patterns/6120

----

EDIT: If you're talking about Neos from Yugioh (picture), I have no idea.

Hey guys! I'd like it if someone could direct me to a place where I can buy a base jacket that looks like the ones from Attack on Titan. I'm not the greatest at sewing so I can't sew a whole jacket by myself, and I'm also broke, so the cheaper the better!

I found this :http://sewing.patternreview.com/patterns/18452

For her top, you could simply use a large band of fabric. The patterns on it can be made with bias tape.
For her jewelry and gems you could try crafting foam and resin casting. Crafting foam would be good for her braceletes and such. Resin casting would work nicely for her gems.

Her gloves could be simply pink opera length gloves with the fingers cut off and buttons sewn up the sides.

Her shoes could be slip on shoes with a cover on them to look like Arabian slippers.

Hope this helped
I know this is super late and such, but THANK YOU!!!! I needed the advice.

Does anyone have a tutorial for Sayaka Miki's shirt? The white part. It should be a simple tube-top but I can't seem to get it right. Also any other tutorials for Sayaka would be lovely but as of right now my main focus is the shirt.
