I'm so excited! I got the shoes for DM! Of course, black pumps are never out of style. These are the shoes that I got.
http://www.dsw.com/shoe/me+too+locke...brand=3002 37 I decided on the gloss, instead of the matte pump. The gloss, visually looks better, imo. Now all I need to do is all the rest of the costume ^^;; I did have a question though... I was thinking for the dress to try to recreate the texture that is in the anime. I haven't tested it, and I can't say when I will try. Is anyone thinking to trying to recreate it as well? |

I plan on doing STR at a point! ;3 Hopefully next year, in time for Otakon 2011. I haven't seen a lot of STR cosplayers >< I'm still trying to figure out how to go about her arms...

Hey guys, I'm doing DM for Halloween this year and I was wondering if anybody has any tips on how to style her hair. It's not a very good wig (bought it from wal-mart) so I don't think I can use a hair curler but any ideas/ help would be much appreciated!

I'm in no way a wig styler... but if this is a wig that can't take heat maybe take a roller or clip the hair in to curls. Then use hair spray or maybe even glue to keep the curls together.
I'm sure there's someone that could answer better... maybe try the wig forum and ask there. |

I'm planning on doing A Black★Rock Shooter cosplay at some point. And would love to eventually also do a Dead Master cosplay as well. http://blackrockshooter.wikia.com/wi...ory:Characters Here's the link to the wiki page on all the characters. There are characters listed there that you won't see in the OVA. Sadly I won't be hand making my BRS outfit, because of my lack of sewing experience with the required fabrics for the outfit. But, eventually one day I'll actually make the outfit and sell the one I intend on buying.

I'm actually gathering a group of those in Black Rock Shooter haha. Surprisingly, we have Matagi, Dead Master, Shooter, Gold Saw (Me :3) and Devil Girl. In the process of getting their other forms as well :3 In which we have Yomi, Matagi's, and Devil girl's haha. We're attempting to make a full group~

I'm trying for Insane Black Rock Shooter. That version's more covered up compared to just Rock Shooter and there seems to be no such thing as prescription red contacts so it'd be very hard to cosplay Gold Saw.

Fuah. So I've gathered currently Black Gold Saw, Black Matagi, Dead Master, and White Rock Strength. Among the counter parts we have Devil Girl's counterpart and Black Rock Shooter. =3= Haaah. It's slowly getting there haha. Had an entire group but some are in Arizona and most likely can't make it to the cons we'd go to pfft. But we're getting there to get an awesome group XD

It's been a while since I've last posted here..
Hm.. I've made some progress with my DM cosplay. I'm pretty much finished with my scythe.. the paintjob is sloppy though. and my claws have been done for a while. I'm doing stuff to my dress, but I've hit a road bump. since this is my first cosplay, I have absolutely no idea how to make the wing harness. Initially I was going to use rare earth magnets, and they kept the wings to me, but the wings drooped. I've seen/read pretty much all the wing harness tutorials.. But I feel like there should be an easier way to go about it, since my wings are light. They're just made of foamboard.. And I also cut out each wing individually. I wish I could do something simple like those fairy wings they sell at Party City or something. |

i.Fairy Ruby Red or i.Fairy Hanabi Red are around $30 USD (from the geo lens site). Don't worry, I've ordered from Geo Lens House before. All you need to do is leave a comment on their wall about ordering, and they send you a message. After you confirm it they send you a paypal invoice.
