Futaba-chan costume

I've kind of got a dillema. I cannot find a fuku that looks like Futaba-chan's. I've looked everywhere and yet I cannot find one. I'm planning on doing Futaba/Futaba-chan cosplay at Nekocon, but I need the fuku to complete it. Anybody know where I can find a pink fuku like Futaba-chan's? I have a picture right here (I colored it myself :3)

Please help :/

You'll have to make it. Trust me. That is one very oddly colored fuku. Most Japanese fukus are not pink, that's for sure. Luckily, mine was given to me, it's the only costume I have that I didn't make. The wig isn't even mine. The shoes socks and bag are the only thing that were mine ^^; Eventually, I'd like to do a really good Futaba-chan... all I need is the perfect wig and the rest wouldn't take too long =3

I was Futaba-chan at AnimeUSA last year for Hiroshi Aro's visit ^^ He got a kick out of that. You can check out my Futaba-chan costume here:

But to make it, all you really need to do is buy some patterns and the material. The skirt's pretty easy, thankfully... most fuku's have pleated skirts. The top is a little tricky, you can adapt it from a woman's sailor top though.

I hope that helps!
