I was by no means surprised, or horrified in the way someone new to the internet might be, but shiiiiit. That's crossin' a line, man. It probably doesn't help that I dislike bugs AND bug pokemon, so squick only intensified.


I love eBay. I got some shoes on there that will work for Fujimoto and Grimsley for $1.29 (and I do feel a little guilty about that) !


I'm also upset that I don't know where the toy chest with all our pokeballs and my Xena wig went. I hate to think it just disappeared because we got too old.

Some common techniques are pin-curls and french braiding, to get hair up and out of the way.

I understand that wigs are expensive, but.... just think about how many YEARS it took for your hair to grow out this long - isn't that worth at least $30 ? Personally, I couldn't destroy something like that, especially for a costume.


I have thick, short-ish hair, but I've never had a problem with wigs. I can see maybe if you're wearing one in the summer in the middle of the day - but I'd imagine you'd not be feeling your best, then, anyway. But different people are going to have different experiences, I guess.

:T Trying to screen print but it ain't working. Paint keeps .. leaking? Under my freezer paper and makes a mess thats hard to match the red for. Is there a trick when ironing it so it won't let the paint leak? I'm not even applying it heavy and it still smudges. I can't move it once it's ironed. I really don't get it and it's making me frustrated to work on that piece for so long to ultimately give up because my touch ups were a different colour than my fabric because my pattern somehow smudged my paint when it was ironed on securely :T
I stayed home from my weekly 'thing' to work on it, and what did I achieve? A mass of red galaxy twill in the garbage and two empty bottles of fabric paint.

nearly done with my chii costume, i finally got the top to fit right except for the shoulders there too tight. the costume may end up looking right but i may not be able to move my dang arms.

At the moment I can't really go out and buy fabric for the jacket, since I've got coursework to get done by Saturday and exams on the 4th and the 10th. I might be able to get a bit of work on the gun prop in though.

I'm painting the swords for my Ukitake (Bleach) cosplay right now, I'm waiting for the black paint to dry so I can paint the other side. I think I'll need two coatings of that... and then I'm off to spraying the edges silver! *dances around happily*
Good thing I'm doing it outside and it's pretty blowy weather, so it dries quickly.

They're REALLLLLLY creepy but if you seach hard enough you can find latex tongues for like 10-15$ each. you could stick them to your hands but it'd be a pain to hold stuff all day XD
