One thing that bothers me is the sunlight (the one filtering in from the leaves). It's quite bright so for me it distracts me from the main focus of the picture: the cosplayer. Also, instead of just having a picture from her side, maybe you could take a bottom-to-up shot (or up-looking-down from the point of view of a dragon, or whatever she's looking at), or even move a bit to the right (i.e. having the shield face the camera more [but make sure not to let the shield block her body]) so you can see her from a more interesting angle.
