XII Dizzy- Daisuke♥ Kagerou!
I want to cosplay this really bad but I can't find any reference pictures? All I have is the video...which isn't that big of a deal but he's wearing a suit....I don't know anything about making suits. Any fabric recommendation or suggestions as to where I could buy something and not spend an arm and a leg on? Men's suits are expensive... :/
Also, on a side note, do you think if you saw someone dressed as Daisuke from that PV (Done well, of course, not a poor, unrecognizable attempt) that you would know who it was? Or at least recognize it as a Jrock cosplay? I recently attended Otakon and cosplayed Myaku Toshiya and Yokan Toshiya and there was a serious lack of Jrock cosplayers there. So I want to do something recognizable! |

I don't know much about sewing, sorry; but, you could try places like GoodWill, or borrow something from someone. Or, you could ask someone to make one for you. I know there are places online that sell them for cheap, but I can't remember the names of them. :/
If I get them, I can post them for you. And to answer your second question: I'd probably recognize it. Maybe not as a Daisuke cosplay, but as a Jrock cosplay atleast. |

by massive lack I meant, I didn't see anyone else in cosplay as Jrockers. I heard there was a Kyo somewhere and a couple Mana's, and there was a Mika Nakashima version NANA but that was as close as it got. I went to Otakon a few years back and I saw several people cosplaying Dir en grey and Gazette, and a hide, even. :/ And thank you, it's much appreciated! And~ thanks for the suggestions supaa_naitomea, let me know if you remember. ![]() |

tsutaya; thank you for the pictures.
I never said I was having trouble figuring the costume out? I know exactly what he's wearing. I said I didn't know how to make a suit or what fabric to use, or where to buy a suit that's not expensive since..being a girl, I don't go suit shopping often...or ever. |

oh well if you live in the states u can go to a thrift store for the shirt of walmart in the little boys section if you happen to be a medium or smaller on girls (medium adult women is xl in little boys). The suit i'd make out of suiting. You can get it at joanns if you have one near you :> though u should be able to find the suit already made also (again little boys section of walmart<3) The costume u could put together with like $50 not including the contacts. The shoes are a little tougher cause theyre designer shoes (i think it was george cox? forgot the brand) but u should be able to get by with regular white creepers.
btw i love ur icon :> despa <3

HAHAHA I never thought of going to the little boys section lmao
Good idea, I'll check that out. I'd rather buy a suit than attempt to make it. xD And thanks! ![]() |

making a suit is a pain *has tried before* i think they got suits in the bouys section for like 30-50 or something like that. and its always good to spend that money cause u can use it for so many more cosplays its ridiculous.
