I've seen these used a few times. I had a whole website on costume teeth, but I can't seem to find where the url went. If I dig it up, I'll let you know.

Cosplaying Gamz as well.
I found a lot of people who were using fake nails as teeth, since it's cheaper.

I'm currently working on a default John cosplay, going to (hopefully) cosplay Nepeta and I'd like to cosplay God Tier John too. I absolutely love Homestuck.

I found the PERFECT glasses for John! (And I posted photos in my gallery if anyone wants to see them XD)

Hey guys, I'm new to this forum, and I actually joined for the primary reason of finding myself a Karkat. I'm going to FanExpo {Toronto, Canada} as Terezi, and my friend is going as Equius. I've pretty well compiled all of my Terezi costume, and I just have to finish my cane and paint the symbol on her t-shirt.

I went to a costume shop and was talking to a girl at the make up counter, and I tried out the cream based body paint, with a sealing powder on top. It works fantastically! The paint doesn't rub off on anything once it's sealed, and it doesn't wash off with water. You need an oil based cleanser to get it off {both a good thing and a bad thing I guess}.

I have a question though. Does anyone have a suggestion as to how to attach horns to a headband? Gluegun isn't strong enough to keep it on.

Hi everyone!! Getting back into this site and helping keep the thread alive

I've got an alpha Dave cosplay put together (there're pictures on my profile if anyone wants to check them out) that I'm debuting at Otakon this year. I'm also making vriska's mindfang-with-wings extravaganza for otakon, and I'm SO excited for it!! Does anyone have any ideas for making a harness for the wings that wouldn't be too bulky (the coat is really fitted and a big harness would show)?

EDIT: @Duchess: I made my horns out of foam and drove a screw into them, then wrapped wire around the screw and the headband, then hot glued it for extra strength. I covered the wire with black cloth to hide it in my wig better. Hope this helps!!

Cosplaying Vriska, got the horns almost done today...

I'm wondering what every does for glasses (because a lot of homestuck characters wear them)
Buy reading glasses and take the lenses out I suppose? and how do you go about the latter?

Yeah, for my Vriska, I just pushed the lens until it came out, although they were a cheap pair so it wasn't hard.

I'm not sure how to make a robot looking arm for Serket, though. Any tips?

I found a good tutorial here which involves attatching the horns directly into the wig instead of a headband, I personally think this has a better effect than using a headband - http://theepicsnocone.tumblr.com/pos...my-troll-horns

For my John cosplay, I managed to find a pair of fake glasses but taking out the lenses also works well.

I've seen people paint full-arm gloves to look like robotic arms and they looked awesome! Good luck!
