Giant Afro
I am working on a cosplay of Miror B.'s outfit from Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness as you can see below.
![]() My only real problem is that his afro is HUGE and the red and white split will be really hard to edit on a standard wig. What are some good ideas for materials to create this spherical monstrosity?

Perhaps a styrofoam/cardboard base with loose wefts and/or crepe wool attached on top?

Lots of effort and hot glue....
Make an internal frame, out of cardboard, that fits onto your head snugly and cover the outside in cardboard. Or you could even use paperbag paper as it's more flexible. You might need to lower the hairline on the forehead a smidgen for more stability. This thread might help with some ideas. |
