Steampunk Samurai

Hi everyone I've been wondering how i would go about turn samurai armor steampunk

Hmmm. Well, there are numerous ways you could go about it. Using this as an example:


~You could try putting a holster or similar device on the shoulder bits and using it to pack a "steam pistol".

~It looks to me like there are gloves to the costume? There are so many steampunk-y things that can be done with gloves.

~ Carry a big fucking gun

Have you ever heard of a tabletop game called Warmachine? It centres around steam powered autonomous robots. Probably the simplest way of turning your Samurai armour steampunk would be to turn it into a Steam powered samurai robot costume. So long as your skin is covered up and you have a boiler backpack type thing, and you wear the obligatory goggles, it should look pretty cool. Then ad a big smegging gun so you look like something from Sucker Punch
