Talking AOD at J-pop Summit Festival!

AOD's still a few months off, but we'll be at Jpop Summit at New People for some fun this year! On Saturday, Sept 18th AOD will be running the Anime Costume Contest during the festival. Admission on Saturday is free so come see us!

Brought to you by New People, Viz, and AOD, this contest is for everyone at the Summit to showcase your best anime costumes! Come by the AOD booth to sign up on the day of the contest!

1. Be courteous and considerate of other entrants and the audience.
2. Due to time constraints we can't allow performances.
3. You can sign up as a group (maximum 10 people) or individual.
4. If space permits you may be able to sign up during the event.

Prizes will be given for the top three entries. There will also be a special prize for the best Detroit Metal City costume! In addition to this the first Detroit Metal City cosplayers to enter will receive free tickets to the screening of the movie that night.

We'll start taking sign ups at 11am, and the contest starts at 2pm, so come see us at the AOD booth! Any questions can be emailed to cosplay@aodsf.org

"This is your job. You want a clear conscience, go start a charity. But if you want your own photography business, and your cosplayer boss says you gotta go out there and take a photo-shoot, go out there, take it, come back to work, and say "DO YOU NEED ME TO DO IT AGAIN?!!"
