Review: CosplayMagic

Hey everyone! I just got my Haruhi Suzumiya cosplay...and I am rather pleased with it!
Here is my review for everyone!

Name of Commissioner: CosplayMagic

Website/C.com gallery: http://www.cosplaymagic.com

Character: Haruhi Suzumiya Summer Uniform, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya

Haruhi Suzumiya Cosplay

Timeline: Ordered on October 16, Arrived on October 18.

Pros: The outfit looks beautiful, exactly like Haruhi's summer uniform. The fabric is nice, especially the skirt. I could seriously wear that skirt by itself if I felt like it. The shirt fabric is nice, a bit thin but comfortable to wear. The red ribbon on the sailor collar and sleeve cuffs is nice and shiny. The ribbon on the front of the uniform is actually sewn on, not glued on or something cheaply made. The headband and armband that came with the costume are nice as well. The belt that goes with the skirt fits nicely too!

Cons: The shirt is a tad bit tight. Though I am a petite person, I was surprised at exactly how tight the shoulders were. When I tried on the shirt, the body of it fit well except for the tightness of the shoulders, to the point where I almost had a panic attack trying to get it off. When I figured out how to do it (there's a button on the piece of fabric where the 'N' is and you simply pop it open or snap it closed) I finally managed to slip the shirt back over my head. I suppose I will simply have to live with the tightness in the shoulders, unless there is some way of fixing it. (Youmacon is only a couple weeks away).

Final Grade: I am giving this cosplay (my first ever ordered online cosplay mind you) a grade of A-. It would have been an A+ if the shirt wasn't so tight in the shoulders. I would recommend CosplayMagic but be wary of tight shoulders in the shirts! I also noticed that they DO have custom sizing...except it costs an extra $50 on top of the price of the costume. Also, their shipping is simply unbelievable! I ordered the costume on a Saturday, and it got here 3 days later! They say their items ship in seven days (haha...subtle reference to The Ring maybe?) but be prepared for it to come in 3 days or less, and be at home when the package arrives because you will have to sign for it.

Good to know...I am ordering 2 wigs and one costume from there...guess I will have to go a size up, otherwise my poor husband's broad shoulders will have some issues. XD
