Favorite Anime Weapon

As I was cooking today, I noticed how I was holding the frying pan (wow, frying pan. That's a change from my wok.) like I would with my shinai. (bamboo sword.) Which reminded me of Shinobu and her weapon of choice. I was wondering what your favorite anime weapon is. Let's try for non-projectiles if possible. They're more funny. (Although the dimensional cannon from Tenchi Muyo: In Love was pretty cool too.) As for me? Well, Sukurudo Hammer!!!

anime weapon? I really don't know.... it's a battle between a regular gun and the traditional katana....

can you be a little more specific? Who's Katana? Who's gun? For Example: Trigung's Gun Vs. Alacard's Gun. Kenshin's Katanna Vs. Zoro's.

Any non-projectile based weapon from Houshin Engi!
The Megaphone that freezes people when you speak out their name through it has great potential (think it's called KuEiKou)
but I'd probably want the Bankou (Those gravity increasing baubles), Kotenka's light sabre thingy or BunChuu's whip thingy....
I also like ShinKoHyo's funny lightning creating 'brush'...

Aaahhh... the magical yen piece that Miss Hinako used in that one Ranma OAV. Whenever she used it on people with fighting spirits, it would suck their energy and she would change from a small little kid to a super sexy woman. Hehe, I totally want that ability.

For some reason the "Venus Love-Me Chain" has always amused me as well... ^_^;; Yay for Sailor Moon.

I know I mention Berserk WAY too much, but I love Gatsu's sword...How can you not love a sword that has a length that is longer than the users body...it's just rediculous! People don't even believe how he can pick the thing up ^^

Well, there is this character from Soul Taker who has a huge medical needle as a weapon. Even though I hated the anime with a burning passion, I like the big fat medical props.

Cloud's buster sword was definatly a ground breaker too.

Just saw the first ep of FLCL today... so I have to say I like Haruko using her bass guitar as a mallet. But...o.O I just wish she wouldn't hurt her instrument like that *hugs lovely bass*

Ah, it's okay. You have to remember that she can bat a falling meteor with that guitar of her's. It's built to last.

A toss-up between Dilandau's Crima Claw and his Flamethrower (nasty suckers, those!)

Well, I *like* mecha weapons.

Personal-sized, I'd have to go with some bad-ass sword...

Hmm lets see, my favorite weapon (even though its more of a technique) would have to be the sexy commando!

As for actual weapons, the laser rifle Kaneda had in Akira was pretty bad ass. And Guts' sword in Berserk, not the really big one he has when hes older, but the one he had when he first joined up with the hawks.
