Other then the other cosplays which do require me to get down a bit weight wise, I'm mainly trying to get down for:
Final Fantasy 13 Vanille

I had gained some weight due to a medical condition but now that it's under control, I just have to lose the weight that I have in a matter of 2 months >.<; But I have a plan and different exercises to do to give me more variety so I'm not bored with just ONE exercise.
So my different choices are the wii fitness, riding a bike, and running. Then of course what I do every day is Richard Simmons 7 Minutes, 7 Days, 7 Weeks Belly Burners, which is a lot of fun! And then this one exercise my friend showed me from her ballet class which works out the muscles in your butt. Gotta lose that junk. >.<

So I have a pretty good system going. Switching from one exercise to another if I don't feel like running that day, try the wii fitness. If not that, ride a bike. I'm determined! D8 I want to look good!

My BMI is 32.7%, the normal is 24%
I'm 14 (will be 15 July.14.2011)
I'm 5'7" (and a half)
and weigh 167 pounds

Although, the compromise i've come to so far seems good; Opinions please?
*Ride Bikes every day
*go to Kings Island once a week (@_@)
*Go from 12 cans of pop a day to 3 or 4
*Eat lean cuisine! XD

any suggestions? OTL

(BTW- Liz is the taller one c: )

I cosplayed Alois once already for a charity benifit. I was told I was cute, but I would like to get in shape alittle more just to feel better about wearing shorts to an actual con.

I started running around the block as many times as I can every day, or every other day.

I run up and down the stairs a couple of times before a mean (to keep my metabolism up, and my body to keep going) Drink a whole lot of water ><! I try to get 10 cups down before the days end *^*

And play DDR when its colder out (this also warms on up)

I know this isnt a whole lot~ but its a start.

I want to get rid of chub chub around my midrift by May 17th and generally get in shape. About a month ago I started a new medication that causes extreme increase in Appetite. So I gained almost 20 pounds over the course of about a month. I was craving and eating really sugary foods high in carbohydrates. I'm currently on a high protein and veggie diet with only whole grains.

Current Date April 13th
Age: 14
Weight: 150 lb
Height: 5'3"
BMI: 26.6%

What my plan is:
Crunches
Running/Walking/Biking
Leg Lifts
ZUMBA~
Strict diet
WATER
Dance

Wish me luck! I hope to return to my weight of 120 lbs in a few months!

It sounds like we are in a pretty similar situation. My suggestion is cutting the soda gradually then completely getting off it. ^^

I pretty much want to lose weight in general, especially for cosplay but I guess, if I had to pick one specifically, TYL! Chrome Dokuro on the poll results in her white dress.


It really shouldn't be that hard for me. At least I don't think so. I can cut off some foods if I need to, no biggy. I'm at school right now and I can't afford to go out shopping so I'm trying not to eat anything too fattening from the cafeteria for the last month. Once I get home, I can pretty much toss myself into my mom's diet and live off that over summer. Not to mention work out like she does lol. She's a beast. And I think it'll be good for us to have someone to work out with.

I have until AWA 17 which is in October so I have a really long time! But I want to get started on my costumes by July. My goal is to lose 10 to 15lbs. How to get there: Pretty much go with my mom's diet. She eats a lot of healthy food, organic food too. She works out for about an hour everyday. She does yoga and a few other intense workouts. We have an entire workout room down there to use. WiiFit isn't too inspiring so I'll see if I can persuade my mom to buy Zumba for the both of us XD. I'll also pick up more Kpop dance routines~

Sweetheart... I'm not one to talk about things but even one can of soda a day is bad for you... You really only should have three a week if that... And lean cuisine isn't always the best option, some of it is actually unhealthy for you. Just start eating healthy and portions. If you cut back on junk food (like mcdonalds, I got bad because we had one at my mall and gained five pounds I am working to lose) and start snacking on other things like fruits and/or veggies it'll help. My bf and i are going to start snacking on carrot sticks and ranch instead of popcorn and we're cutting back our soda drastically also chicken and tuna are good for maintaining a healthy weight as long as it's not fried.

Also riding a bike isn't going to help that much. I rode a bike almost every day for two hours to get back and forth to work and I didn't lose the weight i was gaining from the mall food Try doing other exercises with it, for example, I'm doing ab work outs along with arm/shoulder exercises with my bf (we're working our way to chest and legs cuz it does hurt at first)

Suggestion is to cut out pop completely, not eat lean cuisine and just eat healthy portions of good quality food.

The only way to lose weight is to burn more calories then you consume... pop has a lot of calories... and it's full of crap to boot....

...12 cans a day... my gosh. @_@

I'm trying to lose weight/get more toned to cosplay fire nation Katara rather accurately.



Eeee, midriff! >o< I've always been self-conscious of showing my tummy, but, I'm working hard on abs specifically. As well as arms.

So far I've been able to cut down on soda a lot, and if I drink soda, to only drink Sprite or light soda drinks with real sugar (I used to always drink dark soda drinks as well as diet drinks, which are worse for you ._.). Even then, I need to cut back more on those.

I've also been trying to eat more throughout the day, but in small portioned amounts, as well as making myself eat breakfast in the morning of some sort and drink at least two thermos' full of water a day. I tend to work out two-three times a week for about an hour and a half, focusing on cardio, abs and arms, and have a hip-hop dance class once a week that's another hour of working out. Over spring break I was able to work out an hour every day and definitely saw progress, however, it's hard with college to maintain that routine.

I need to get fit by June 10thish for Akon. I think I can do it! Any suggestions though??
