I need to lose some weight by april to be Szayel from Bleach. He seems pretty lean. I'm a guy and I need to lose at least 30 pounds. I have till april...that shouldn't be hard.

Once again...my hero!!! I've been trying put on some muscle for my Cammy costume, but I'm not too worried about it, since it's just a Halloween costume. Sadly, just guzzling protein does not make one beefier, or else I would be full He-Man status. You really need to buckle down and do the hard work. It'll suck at first, but it will get better, and then you will start to love it. I go to the gym 3 times a week, 30-40 min. a session, and I split my regiment up in to: Mon - chest/biceps, Wed - back/tricepts, Fri - legs/core. I do legs and core on friday so I have longer to recover through the week, being the largest muscle groups in the body.

As for nutrition, I usually have a bowl of oatmeal with chopped almonds, raspberries, and chocolate whey powder mixed in so it doesn't taste like sawdust. The oats and things added to the oats give me good carb fuel for my exercise without loading my system with processed garbage. The MOST important thing is post-workout nutrition. Your muscles have been broken down and torn apart and in the next 30min to an hour after your workout, they are rebuilding, so for mass you need to down some good fats, carbs, and around 100+g of protien. My übershakes tend to do it: Bolthouse shake (30g), whole milk (15g), 2 scoops when powder (50g), 2 scoops peanut butter (15g), 2 scoops vanilla icea cream (no protein, but good fat source). Also keep in mind you will need to down an ungodly level of calories. I am doing probably 3500-4000 calories a day.

and the payoff? I ripped one of my shirts getting dressed the other day :P

I'm nice and plump, but I want to work on losing weight for next year's Youmacon so that I can cosplay without worry. Though I could care less about weight issues when I get the cosplay together. I just want to get smaller .3. but I cannot find the inspiration... or like the economical allowance to buy the good foods /dies.

Hmm, how about Kratos? The day I can cosplay as Kratos is the day I dream of. At the moment I'd say I have more of a ninja/lean muscled samurai body type than a god of war lol.

My two main goals are Simon from TTGL and Judal from Magi. Both of which are pretty lean and ripped...GOTTA GET DEM ABS~

I'd also like to do someone like Grimmjaw and Ryu. They seem like they'd be fun. :3

i really want to be a witch from L4D2 for Ohayocon (zombie theme)


not too sure as to how well that one will turn out yet though. i might just end up being a hunter like i did for Halloween =(
anyways.. i've been trying to do Insanity Workout with my older sister but we're both really busy (me with school and making costumes for this year's play, and her with her kids and babysitting for the neighbor) and it's difficult to get together BUT i'm gonna keep at it and hopefully i'll be good for the witch in 2 months!

Ultimately, I want to be slim to be able to depict Kanoe Yuuko correctly! I just have to work out more often and stick to my Keto diet plan instead of derping around about it all the time.
