Amy Pond, Marshall Lee, and my Sim for AN in June! I really want to get inches off my thighs, and tone my hips/stomache, so my Sims shorts and Marshall pants look good. Especially because I'm crossplaying Marshall, I want to be able to pull off those mens-skinny jeans!
Upcoming Cons
MAGFest 2016
Valentine | Skullgirls
Sim | The Sims
Katana/Barbarianna | Kung Fury
AnimeNEXT 2016
(Censored) Sim | The Sims
Valentine | Skullgirls
Road (Exorcist Uniform) | D. Gray-Man

Just based on your numbers (though I know that's limited information), it sounds like you'd benefit most from more muscle-building activity instead of more cardio. Lots of squats should be your number 1! And I mean deeeep squats .

I'm just working on getting more muscle and losing my fat, mostly for my cosplays like Hwoarang, Light Yagami etc.

What I'm currently doing:
b-ball every time I'm free
lifting 12 pound weights
50 situps
50 pushups

What I plan on doing:
MMA training
B-Ball Practice
Tae Kwon Do Practice

Sports help me take my mind of food =))

Me too! I need to play more per week though. Ultimate frisbee every Thursday just isn't enough! Have fun with MMA! They'll definitely make you do more than 12 lb lifts XD.

For me... I want to maintain the shape I was in for my Sailor Venus cosplay. Going forward I have some tentative plans, but it always just *feels* better to be in shape, no matter what costume I'm in .

I'm going for the Scarecrow off Batman. I'm trying to design it in the style of the comics, rather than the Nolan films, Arkham Asylum or animated series, which most people seem to do. It's my first official cosplay project (after a couple of Halloween costumes), which I'm trying to get done for sometime next year. I need to lose at least 3 stone to not look stupid in it.

Valkyrie (on the left)

I do some cardio every day. I've been trying to work out as far as muscles but... eh? They will come. The biggest challenge is going to be working towards a healthy body without falling into the trap of 'holy shit she's so hot and my spine doesn't bend like that!' because god knows comic book girls don't look like the rest of us. I also have a square figure so I'll never have Valkyrie's lovely torso, and I have to constantly remind myself that it isn't fat, it's the way my body is shaped.

sleepygeek - Try body-weight exercises. They are great for toning and building muscle (though women tone more than build, rather than men who build rather than tone).
I'm sure you can pull it off well.

I'm working on getting more toned up for my Gekokujou cosplay for this summer!

I'm kinda chubby overall, and saddly (god I hate them so much) I have "love handles" and stuff. I'm mainly working on my arms, since his arms are more exposed, because I'll be binding anyway, so the'll do for the chest area. c:

Any ideas for help? If anything, PM me cx.
