Kotone/Lyra help

This is my first cfostume and i need a bit of help.
I'm doing a Kotone/lyra costume from pokemon and am totally lost when it comes to fabric and how to sew her overalls/shorts thing.
I need a good online store where i can find good fabric to use, since the only store that sells fabric in my town recently stopped.

Heres a picture for referance http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wi...ilver_Lyra.png

Why not use a deep indigo midweight denim? That's what they always seemed like to me.

Failing that, I suppose a blue twill would also work.

Fabric.com is a good site- their prices are very reasonable and they offer swatches. Denver fabrics and JoAnn's online site are the two other sites I use most for ordering fabric online, though beware that neither offer swatches (Denver Fabrics TECHNICALLY does, but only for a very few fabrics..).

Here's a good denim from fabric.com that could work.

And a twill.
In Progress:
Klan Klang (Lovely Bomber) - Macross Frontier: SnT - (15%- Sewing and logistics)
Jam Kuradoberi - Guilty Gear - (95%- new wig+touchups)
Next Cons:
Youmacon '12
My Curecos
My dA
