Steampunk Score at Hobby Lobby

As I short-cutted through the scrap booking section of our local Hobby Lobby, I stumbled upon the most unexpected surprise. Steampunk accessories!! I couldn't refrain from squeeling in delight as I snatched the prize off the rack.

And my fav... sprockets and gears

Hope this helps somebody looking for steampunk accessories. I'll be going back for more next week, so if you visit my Hobby Lobby, leave some goodies for me.

I've found the same gears at Michaels. Bought 2 packs of them.

BTW you can go over to the model section and pick up some gold paint (Testers $1.99) and use it to paint these. I used it on a couple of the silver sprockets and it looks great.

Ah, thanks again. I actually needed some gold paint for another project too, but the stuff I had been looking at was quite expensive for a tiny amount. I will look into that paint aswell when I go ^.^
