Thank you for the Tutorial. I have a wig in desperate need of washing. (It's for a cosplay I wear to almost every convention, so it has gotten so nasty looking...) Will most defiantly try this out! Thanks again.

I used this tutorial to wash my Hime wig yesterday, because it was full of hairspray from the con and was feeling a bit rough to touch. I was a little afraid of using dish soap as I feel it's a little 'hardcore' for wig fibers... But my wig came out so smooth and shiny, it's like new! Thanks!

Thanks for this tutorial!! I tried it out on my Kairi wig, and now it's clean and soft! I'll be using this on all my wigs! ^^

I got a superlong purple wig that has experienced all sorts of "awesomeness" in it's life and now it's so unpleasant to touch, ugh x.x I guess I'll try your method too!

Just being super awesome and bumping this up... xD I slightly modified this method when I washed a wig extremely prone to knots. Basically, I washed it how I would normal, but then I coated it in conditioner and let it sit for a bit before washing it out. The result is an extremely soft and manageable wig! c:

Thank you so much for this tutorial! I have a really long wig that is difficult to take care of. When my grandmother found it while cleaning my room when she visited, she thought it was something cheap. So, she rolled it up into a ball and threw it into a bin. Hopefully, this tutorial will revive it. Thank you so much!

I've got a wig I'm gonna need for next month and my last attempt to do anything with it failed miserably. Hopefully this method will help get rid of the nasty product and I can wear it no problem! I'll let you know how it turns out when I do it.

Thanks so much for this tutorial~
By the way, is it safe to leave hair spray in a wig for a long while?
