Thanks for this tut, very helpful.
Hey! I probably wouldn't comb out a ringlet curly wig and a full bottle of the solution will last for MANY washings. (I've probably washed wigs twenty times with the same bottle)

This helped a lot! I have three wigs and never washed'em... Today I wanted to wear one of them and saw that it was a little strange and bad-smelling. Then I felt in a mood of washing it but I didn't knew how to do it. It's perfect now! Thank you!

So I have this wig I'm trying to style for my Lulu costume. Would hand soap work or does it have to be dish soap? I'm going to try this as soon as I find a good spray bottle. :P

Love this tutorial. My wig came smelling like my stylist's house, which set off my OCD. (Unreasonable, but yeah.) Now it smells like my shampoo and Fabreze. ~

omygosh i loved this and the photos helped a lot. <3 thanks for putting up the time and effort ^.^
also i had some wig cleaning questions
how often should one wash a wig? how will i know when to wash it? does it like help it keep the wig nice with every styling?
and i assume combing it when wet causes it to pull fibers.

So would any dish soap work? Also Ive heard that normal shampoo wouldnt work for a wig but this seems to prove that wrong? Is it just as long as its a generic brand?

also thanks this helps so so much!

Thank you soooooo much! My wigs have been in dire need of a bathing! I've always been so nervous about washing them, so I've never really done it before, but this is great! Now two of my best wigs are soft and clean once more and ready to be re-styled for my next convention!

Oh my gosh, I just used this tutorial on my old Lucy wig and it works amazingly! I will have to do this for my other wig when I have the chance.

My parents complimented on how good it came out looking. Now my Lucy wig is all set to ship out!

What a super helpful tutorial. I've owned wigs for years and the way I've been washing them has never been as nice as this. It really makes a difference. Before and after.
