I believe the deadline has passed for panels. Lisa's already working on the schedule.

Actually, a "proto-version" of the judging panel goes back further than Gravely mentioned - back in the mid to late 1990's if I'm not mistaken. It was referred to as the "Masquerade of Champions" even then.

Meh. I didn't really have any good ideas this year anyway. I feel inadequate doing panels at Costume-Con. You guys know the subject matter better than me except for that odd panel we did on web equipment last year.
