Angel Sanctuary for AN 2011?
Two friends and I will be cosplaying from Angel Sanctuary at Anime North next year (Kurai, Alexiel and Rosiel). Is anybody else planing to make costumes from this series?

I have Katan but I won't be able to wear him until FanExpo or perhaps this upcoming D-TAC if my Rosiel will be present ^^ I would love to have a group together at some point and I will be on the lookout for you guys

Yes planning Belial was on my list at some point but not for AN.
(I will measure my Kurai wing fot you next week when I'm off genkimami) I'm contemplating going to Otakuthon over FanExpo Next year. It's just that FanExpo is still "local" for me. ^_^

I'm still stumped about which version of Belial to do since she (well it) has so many outfits. lol
I'd love to hear recommendations since there are so many but the only one I'm hesitant to do it the pinstripe version since it's a bit over cosplayed. But It's the most recognizable as well and make a good Halloween costume. ^_^

I understand, the characters in this manga seem to have a different outfit in every chapter. I'm sticking to the art book version of Kurai's black wedding dress, it's just easier this way.
I'm currently reading the manga, but I haven't really paid much attention to Belial's outfits before, I'll try to be more attentive from now on. I think that if you don't feel like doing the pinstripe outfit it's no problem. To me Belial's most defining feature is the face makeup anyway! Last edited by genkimami : 10-25-2010 at 09:22 AM. |

I always wanted to do a AS masquerade presentation to Panic! At The Disco ~ I Write Sins Not Tragedies with the Mad Hatter narrating, Kurai, Lucifer and one of the angel so Kurai can run off with them. lol

I do have Angel Sanctuary planned to do one day (Alexiel specifically), but it won't be for this year's AN. But I'll definitely be on the watch for you! I love the series (both the manga and the anime)!

Ok you got me in to the planning stages for Belial now despite me not being confirmed to go to Otakuthon but I've been wanting to do her since 2003. I even order fabric swatches for striped fabrics to test. ^_^

 Actually, yesterday I was checking the manga and found a head to toe image of Belial, I saved it with the intention of sending it to you.I have a Persona 3 group planned for Otakuthon (yeah we're planning THAT far ahead), but I can still bring Kurai to wear one of the days if you decide to come to Montreal. It's not that long a ride for me so it's no problem to bring 2 cosplays especially since my Persona cosplay won't take much space. |
