Street Fighter Halloween Cosplay! akuma, guile, chun-li, M. Bison costumes.
Haha, my friends and I wanted to do this, planned it out the whoolleeee year. And so glad everyone did what they could to bring it together.
Everything was made from scratch, however i can only speak in detail about my costume, AKUMA, since thats the only one I made. I do know that for BISON, most of what he is wearing is womens, bought at the salvation army then modified. For my costume, Bought the Karate uniform in white, then cut it and passed a serated knife trough edges and trough the whole uniform to give worn look. Dyed it dark blue. Spray painted the symbol in the back. The wig was a white wig I spray painted red, and left the white bits in there for the hair, then tied it and styled it with gel, followed by putting a rope on it to complete the look and gluing the rope in place. The getas, japanese slippers, were made from wood bought at home depot and wood glue. Also added the thongs as rope to again go with the look. The beads were expensive, got birch wood balls 2.25 inches, made holes trough them with a drill and put a wire trough it, then spray painted it. the face was either A. shave my eyebrows or B. wear a latex mask over it.. went with B. Then blended it onto my skin as best i could with makeup. Enjoy! Any questions ask. Did not wanna put contacts on for costume, never been able to wear them at all. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Wow hehe, I think this is one of the best Akuma cosplays I've seen so far. You actually got the hair looking right, even though it's a little too clean and not as wild as it looks in the artwork and games.
You definitely have the right build and skintone as well. The work on the gi is also well done. I think what really sets it apart from the other cosplays I've seen is that you can do the scowl really well. |

Thanks sooo much! And yeah I havent seen anyone pull off the hair the RIGHT EXACT way that is on cartoons I imagine because its so hard, I was actually surprized my friend was able to do guiles hair at all. In my mind I knew what i wanted to do with the hair and how to do it, but in real life it didnt translate as well once I tried it.
Here are a few more shots. ![]() My friend did MR. T, I'm sure everyone knows who that is hahaa anyway I cut his hair, and did his beard with some black crepe hair and spirit gum for adhesive. We went to home depot and bought "gold" regular chains, for like 10 bucks we got 11 feet just rapped it around a few times and also got mardi gras beads that were gold for cheap. We thought it would be funny to attach random things to his chains, so i had a doorknob set i was gonna use that was gold plated, and we put that all over his neck.. haha.. he has a door handle, a lock, and little bits of door lock pieces. ![]() ![]() by the end of the night my nose was coming off, also forgot to mention my girlfriend (pocahontas) put some eyeliner on me, so make my eyes stand out since the mask kinda made them fade in. ![]() has i worn contacts this would have been sorta what it would have looked like.. ![]() |
