..No this isn't about avoiding con-pervs..

I am, quite frankly.. well endowed, blessed, I have large tracks of land. Call it what you will. I've also recently lost a lot of weight, and while I am by no means "skinny" or "a model" I would like to do more cosplays that show off the fact that I have curves, and perhaps are on the sexy side.. o3o; The issue is, I am not an anime/manga/game character, and like most real life females, my breasts require proper support.

A LOT of cosplays require something other than a conventional bra. Strapless? Backless? Bustiers? U-Plunge? It's almost a miracle to find any of these in a DD cup (Of which I'm a DDD cup) Even stores like Lane Bryant have for the most part, failed me.

Do I not worry about proper size if it's just for a costume, and take what I can get? Are there specialty stores out there that I'm missing? Because it seems like every department store, lingerie store and mall store stops at a C-D cup.

Have you tried internet shops? Ebay, Amazon and the like? I have a friend who has quite a large bust herself, and she buys most bras from ebay. Problem is, shipping allways makes everything more expensive... :/

If you are just asking about boob support and cosplay, most people won't care if you have to break from accuracy for that. Clear bra straps are always great. I'd rather add straps to a strapless costume than have saggy boobs.

I would say take it costume by costume since each one may require different types of support (as you said, backless, strapless, etc.). While I am not as well endowed as you I am a stickler for boob support in my costumes :P I have found that corsets do a pretty good job of holding things up if you are wearing a strapless costume (they can be expensive but as long as it's not exposed you can use the same one for multiple costumes); but as you and Jkchan have already gotten at you'd probably have to order from a specialty store online. For a backless costume you could use clear bra straps to make a halter top to hold them up.

Lady Grace has EVERYTHING. I am around the same size as you and have also had trouble finding bras that fit... Lady Grace has a great selection and always has women that are there to help you find the right size and right fit for the costume/dress/whatever.

If not there are specialty shops online... but see if there's a Lady Grace around you first. Lady Grace is wonderful, haha

If that fails, what catfetus said is what I would have said.

La Vie En Rose is really good for that, La Senza is okay and the bigger ones are usually cheaper too.

im in the same situation as you. and the smaller you're waistband is the harder it is to find something
I need to wear a strapless cosplay in a few months, and im still trying to figure out how im going to keep the girls down. D:

I have large boobs as well. I get all my bras at Nordstrom! They have strapless, cross cross, low cut bras in my size (34DDD)
