Starting Weight: 189lbs.
Current Weight: 185.4lbs?! woah, I lost more than I thought. o_o;;
Goal: 130-140 lbs, actually. :3

Week?

Stopped counting because I've been taking a break for the holidays. My goal is to maintain my weight and so far I have done well. 142 for the past 3 weeks and that is down from 151. Once the new year begins I'm back on my program to hit the goal of 135.

So I finally feel motivated enough to do this >

Current weight: 170 lbs.
Start weight: 170 lbs.
Goal weight: 150 lbs.

I'm 5'9" and my current weight seems to never change! But 150 is in my healthy range and I think I'll look good there. I'm really hoping to get there for all those summer cosplays!

Just going to post my progress since October 26th since I'm strictly going by the scale at the gym rather than mine at home for more consistency. October is also when I started working with a personal trainer while adding more cardio/fitness classes.

Start : 243lbs (42% Body Fat :/) - April of 2010
October : 203lbs (37% Body Fat)
Current : 190lbs (30.5% Body Fat) - As of today
Goal : 150-160lbs and less than 25% Body fat
Start : Size 18
Current : Size 10

I hope everyone has a happy holidays! Don't go too overboard with goodies but enjoy yourself!

This forum is incredibly motivating^^ I started working out on the 11th and here are my stats:

Current weight: 150 lbs.
Start weight: 150 lbs.
Goal weight: 120 lbs. (by May-June next year)

I'm beginning to wonder if i'm doing something wrong... I've been working really hard these past couple weeks and there still hasn't been any change It's rather discouraging...

I've been trying on and off to get into a routine for a couple of years now but with no support from my Dad (don't get me wrong, he thinks its a good idea to lose weight, and he knows we could both succeed if we both, you know, actually tried, and that it would help manage his type 1 diabetes, but he doesn't wanna do the work) I haven't been able to maintain any kind of significant loss. I don't have the means to get the really detailed info, like BMI or body fat percentage, but I can't imagine that what its at is healthy. Maybe you guys can help kick me in the pants!

Height: 5'7.5"
Starting Weight: ~235-240 lbs (Early 2009, as I started cooking school)
Current Weight: 208.8 lbs (as of last Saturday, 12/18, but I suppose I could call this "starting")
Overall Goal Weight: 120-150 lbs, whichever is healthiest/looks nicest
Short-Term Goal Weight: 180-190 lbs, is February/March a reasonable timetable to lose 20 lbs?
Starting Dress Size: 18
Current Dress Size: 14/16 (depending on the material/cut/store bought from, etc)

My scale is a little bit off, I just don't know by how much or which way, but it's the only one I use, so I hope that my numbers are consistent. I lost the first 20 lbs over last year just by switching to recommended portion sizes with a little bit of healthier stuff thrown in. My problem is: I have limited access to a gym, no access to a doctor or personal trainer, limited funds to get healthy produce, and I live with someone who just isn't that serious about getting healthier. Any advice for trying to do this under these conditions?

Don't worry Serah. The numbers on the scale can be really misleading. If you just started working out then your body has been building muscle, so even though you've lost some fat there is no net weight change. Weight loss is seldom steady and even. I will loose five pounds in two weeks and then stay the same weight for months. If you are stepping up the intensity of your workouts every week or so, then you are getting healthier, and if you are healthy the weight will come off with time.

oh good^^ I can say that I can definitely tell that my muscles are stronger (I can do push-ups now XD). And I have been increasing the intensity as soon as i think something is too easy.

I'm so happy to hear that this is normal, I was really worried >.>

Personally I find this thread ridiculous. Weight is an okay goal to have but I'm targeting fat, not weight. So if I can manage to lose 5 pounds of fat by the end of January I'll be happy. Unfortunately for weight freaks this means I'll go UP that much. My muscle mass is designed horribly and you would be surprised by how weak I am.

I'm 5' 2" and I guess I don't look that heavy due to my build, I've got muscles and broad shoulders, but I'm still not happy with my current weight. (curse being a girl with a manly body lol) I know better than to think I'll be some lithe beauty, but I'd like to be around a healthier weight.

Yea i'm 4`11, turning 18 in two months. I actually was 195 a few months ago so i'm slowly losing weight, i have a few apps on my ipod that will help me keep track of everything i'm doing, eating, exercising, and such so hopefully it works.

Starting back up after the holidays. Gained 4 pounds but I'm ok with it. Rather I gain 4 pounds from my new weight than my old weight.

Starting Weight in April 2010: 190lbs
Previous 2004 Weight: 205lbs.
Current Weight: 161lbs.
Goal Weight: 130lbs, body fat percentage of 25-30%.

Not aiming to be skinny. Just more slender than I used to be.
