I'm young lol :P I'm about 5' 1".
My mom says to lose 20 pounds :P Well, I'm getting there! (I'm doing Golf to lose the chubbiness I has o3o)

I had a bit of trouble this Sunday when I ate way more than I wanted to but other than that it hasn't been too rough. Working out has helped me a great deal and I've eaten fairly healthy with a few slip ups. I have to say that asking for help here was very helpful and kept me motivated after my slip ups.

2nd Weigh In:

Starting Weight: 154 lbs.
Previous Weight: 150 lbs.
Current Weight: 148 lbs.
Goal Weight: 135 lbs.

I only lost two pounds this week but I think I know why, my boyfriend pointed out that I was drinking Gatorade during my work outs, and even though my friends suggested that, last week I hadn't been and I lost four. So I'm going to either drink it after or not drink it at all and go back to drinking just water. I was drinking just water before but it made me nauseous during my work outs. He said it does the same to him and the trick is to just drink it slowly, don't chug it.

But either way I'm looking to lose all this weight by June 15! 13 more pounds to go, it seems reasonable :3 If I continue losing at just 2 lbs a week then I can reach my goal after seven weeks and still have two weeks before the metrocon! Then I just have to maintain, or I might try and lose that last five pounds.

This is awesome, thank you for starting this! I think it will be really helpful!

Here's what I do if anyone wants to try it!

I go to the gym everyday and calculate my calories according to how active the days are. At work I walk around a lot, so I still go to the gym, but I get more calories. But if I am sitting in class or at home all day, I cut back a bit. Also I to cardio one day and strength training the next so I don't know how that will effect me, but we will see! I will weigh in on fridays I think, seems like a good day lol.

Everyone, good luck and try hard! ^^ Just be careful not to become too obsessed with scale number -- that can lead to scary stuff ^^; Been down that road. Chub is no fun, bur going to the hospital twice a week for therapy, blood tests, getting fed through a tube, and having you diet regulated for a year isn't either.

I'm not really sure how this happened... I ate more than I should have and I lifted weights and worked on building muscle so I assumed I would be gaining a little weight or at least not lose as much weight. I guess strength workouts really are good for weight loss! I think the most difficult part about it now is continuing to eat healthy foods. It is definitely hard to keep motivated.

Hi I'm heather I'm 5'2". My goal is to fit and in shape by Gencon which is august 16. I feel I can reach this goal pretty well!! Good luck to everyone. I started exercising and counting calories and I've lost 5lbsish in a month.
