My highest starting weight from last year was: 220 Current weight: 162 Goal weight: 135

Well I didn't do an official weigh in but I did do a double check. It was my birthday and I got a lot of free stuff and wanted to be sure I didn't get off course.
So my quickie weigh in was at 144, which I still have lost one pound so I think I'm happy with where I'm at :3 Official weigh in for week 'six' this friday. |

I'm 5'2 My goal: 115. Last Saturday I was 190. Current weight (Friday Morning): 179.5
Lets see how long this is going to last till I reach my goal. I'm guessing till october. |

Now I'm feeling all emotional, since I'd been overweight pretty much since elementary school. It's weird; for the first time since I was seven or eight-years-old, I'm finally at a healthy weight. Anyway, thanks for all the encouragement over the past year or so! Being on this forum has helped me more than you guys can imagine! For those of you still trying to get to your goals-keep up the good work, you can do it!! ^_~

Thanks! Thanks! Advice? Let's see... Don't get lazy; don't let the scale dictate how you feel about yourself; listen to what your body is telling you; EAT (there are no excuses not to, I don't care how busy you are); maintain a fitness regimen, including healthy diet and exercise; don't fall into fad diets-healthy eating has to become a part of your permanent lifestyle; and, most importantly, don't tear yourself apart because you feel like you aren't reaching your goals. Other people will likely notice major changes in your appearance before you do, and it is very possible for you to disregard the changes you know for a fact are happening (like your body getting leaner/fitter/healthier) because you haven't changed the way you perceive yourself. It's dangerous, it can happen while you're doing everything else that you're supposed to (like eating healthy and exercising), and I am telling all of you this from personal experience. So, I guest the most important bit of advice I have is to be very careful while trying to achieve your fitness goals, and make sure you remember how awesome you are. And just in case you forget how awesome you are, keep posting updates on your progress in this forum. We'll let you know. ^_~ Keep up the good work, everyone! I finally finished my last paper for school, so I'm off to tackle a cosplay catastrophe!

Hoo boy..
I really did not want to get on that scale...I'm starting up again with eating better and exercising, hoping to get back down to near my high school weight. Good luck to me, I guess.
