Rose Tyler Stolen Earth Gun

Hi everyone!
So I'm adding to my Rose Tyler cosplay and I'm working on making the gun she uses in Season 4 - Stolen Earth / Journey's End

See those silver swoopy things near the trigger? That's where I'm stuck. I can't figure out/find something that works for them. Anyone have any ideas of what to use and where to get it?

Thanks!

My initial thought would be something like a thick coated wire from the hardware store. Not sure if you can find it in a flat silver like on her gun, but you might be about to find it in another color and then paint it to be silver. They should have a ton of different wires in various gauges at your local hardware store, and it probably wouldn't cost much to get a couple short lengths of wire.

Good idea, I will try that! Thank you!

WOW, you got everything done save the little wires? Could I ask what you did exactly?

I tried purchasing a pretty good base for her gun in the form of a Nerf gun, but adding onto it has been a chore. Cardboard won't cooperate and wood shaping is too expensive.

Any advice? I heard a guy who made a Thor hammer used resin, but I know NOTHING about that.

Any help would be appreciated since hardly anyone recognized me without the gun.

What about plastic tubing like they use for aquariums? It's less likely to get banged out of shape.
Addons can be PVC pipe and craft foam.
