I need help!!!

O.K. So I wan't to dress up as Hatsune Miku, but I do not know how to make the sleves and what to do for the tie.
Can someone please help, I have never done cosplay befour and am really confused.

Well, for her tie, you could always make the base of your tie on your own, and use black hair clips for the other part of it.

Or, if you wouldn't want to make a tie from scratch, you could find a white tie, dye it, and sew on some black fabric.

The sleeves are pretty easy.

Its basically the same thing. You just need to make them a bit longer, and measure high up your arm.

To add the trim, you can use double fold sailor tape. (Also called bias tape) in a certain width.

If you want to add the mixers, you can screen print them (if you don't want to go fancy and make them light up) by using this tutorial :


If you're wondering about fabric, you can use twill, for the tie, you can use polyester.
