I'm working madly on Sailor Aluminum Siren for SakuraCon this weekend. I just finished top stitching the lining into her dress. I know need to do the crisscross ribbons in front and make her sailor collar. Then she's done. I've been working on her for a couple of weeks, but just hadn't posted here as she's not quite a regular sailor scout.

I thought that all Sailor Moon characters counted. Was I wrong? Blackusagi is doing Ann/En, so I just assumed that all the characters were accepted here.

So I glued my wand back together with Superglue and PVA.

Haha you're totally right!

Boyfriend just helped me measure for the hem, I'm going to try and hem it without cutting any off, I love how long it is, it's just not practical for this con.

As for the wig, well.. it's almost a lost cause. I'm going to try and cut all the knots out now, but getting it all nice and straight is so difficult.

@BlackUsagi: I looked on amazon for some cheap gloves, I got a pair for $3 (shipping was free) on there, you can find both long and short ones - hope this helps ^^

I want to make a dress so I can cosplay as Princess Jupiter, but I'm not sure what fabrics to use, are there any patterns, etc...

It'd be my first cosplay, so I have no idea about anything, and I don't have much experience sewing.

Yeah I'm really happy with how it looks.

I'm going to hem the dress tonight, am a little concerned about how the gauze will hold up.

Have almost given up on the wig, I'm on holidays this week and I'm hoping I'll be able to source a new wig from somewhere. I cut the knots out but more appeared straight away.

Schumi Girl, don't worry about your wig, there are worse wigs out there, just look out for those kiddy cosplayers who have cheap iparty wigs on xD Yeah, that's what I call a bad wig.
Just replace it - and I hope you have an anjoyable convention as well ^^

Gawd my convention is quite a while away, at the end of May :/ Ah well... Btw, I just thought I'd mention this now to everyone because I may not be on my computer tonight, I'm going to Germany tomorrow for holiday, so won't be able to work on my costume, nor obviously post any pics up. I promise after I've gone I will finish what I need to do and post lots of pics ;P So you won't hear from me for a week. I'll miss talking to you all
