Also I just wanna rant for a second on my Sailor V brooch. So the other day I was spray painting the brooch, and I was on the last layer when the wind decided to blow and dirt blew all over it and stuck to the paint. So I had to wait for it to dry and then sand it smooth again. I was so angry. Dx So now I'm only on the second coat, and I had to leave it to go to work and haven't been able to finish it since. :/

Oh I sympathise. Similar happened to me when I was spraying a chrome finish outside. JUst when I finished spraying, and it was looking reeeeally good, a tiny insect flew over ..I held my breath.. and watched helplessly as it decided to land right in the wet paint! (Stupid insect!) I figured all was not lost, if I could just pluck it out in time.. So very carefully I tried to pick it out and... all that came off was its darned wings! I had to respray the entire thing again in the end. Grrrr

Grr, I want that Neo Queen Serenity Crown from Southern Moon creations and the seller is taking ages to respond. I know that she's just had a baby and all but seriously, replying to an email doesn't take very long. I now have to have the trouble of figuring out how I'm going to make it myself. I already have a basic idea but the whole thing really peed me off.

Or does anyone know where I can get another nicely made replica that isn't too pricey?

oh thank you. i'm getting it commissioned since i am terrible with patterns. So i shall tell the commissioner about this. how many snaps did you use and what fabrics? I was gonna use varrying shades of pink and cotton as a base but now I am leaning towards duchess satin or a very light weight flowy fabric. And as the sleeves and top layer chiffon in light pink while the base is a hott pink.

Thanks for the link - it's an okay tiara but it certainly isn't worth $30 - it's just that I have to think of shipping to the UK as well so that's going to be pricey. I think I will buy it though.

i freehanded my entire dress, there was no pattern lols
on my waist. i used 4. one in the back. two on the sides. and one in the front [plus a snap to hold the to sides of the top skirt together] i'll dig out the outfit a little bit later and take photos. mine was made with light pink casa satin [like really sturdy prom material] and baby pink lace for the top skirt. my sleeves were reused from my outfit last year which is pink lace and pongee

Fabulosity! I just wanna say I love you. HAHA We need to meet. xD Your comment was awesome. It made my night. Thats actually the bed spread I got for like 6 bucks at salvation army, and matching sheets as well. I just wish the pillow cases were there too. :/

@Trianalove- Not sure if your interested. But I'm considering possibly selling my princess small lady (Pink gown) I made years ago. I recently wore it to a convention not too long ago, and its just not for me anymore. Here's a pic of it:

I've already discussed the matter with MoonPrism (the link that fabulousity gave me) and I've decided to go with that. But I have to wait until Wednesday to buy it :P

Thanks for all the help you guys! I may do some of my cosplay today so hopefully I should have the base wire "shapes" done for her "wings" then all I need to do is cover it in fabric :3
So after a few days next week it should be safe to say that my cosplay will be 100% finished! x

Sucks when things are out of stock and you either have to re-order or look somewhere else which could take hours or you can't find anything at all.
