Also progress update!

Worked on Small Lady again today. :}
Fixed up the bottom layer skirt and made my back bow. Now I just need to make the top layer with my chiffon and buy beads and attach it all together. The bottom layer of the skirt is now hemmed better and even, and it doesn't show the pleating tracks up top. (I don't have photos, sorry)

Chiffon is such a flimsy fabric that I really don't like working with it, and even ironing doesn't help too much. So Small Lady is slowly coming along.
Also, need to start on Sailor Moon! I already have my fabric, gloves, and need to buy foam for the rolls and some lycra/swim material, and a leotard. To get started. (Leotard being the key portion so I can get accurate measurements). I also am planning on getting my brooch/choker/hair gems commissioned by the same person. :}

@Fabulousity, great job on your bows and gloves.

having just made just made no less than two dresses out of bridal satin, i can confidently say that it actually wrinkles like freakin crazy.

Hah, quite a few posts since I last checked!

I think I'm finally going to order the mesh that Ranma suggested however many pages ago, so that I can get started on the bodysuit for my Saturn. I've also been researching skirts like crazy today. I decided that I'm going to be adventurous and try to do a pleated skirt because I'm stupid and like to be as accurate to the anime version as possible. Yay! ^_^;

I also spent a fairly large portion of the weekend helping my sister researching possible wigs to use for Neptune. She liked some of the wigs that previous cosplayers in this thread used, so I'm thinking of sending some folks a friendly PM asking where they got theirs. We're still not quite sure who's going to be paying for her cosplay stuff (she has no job, and money is starting to get a bit tight in the family...) so we'll see how that goes.

And I stumbled upon the Christmas Senshi way back earlier in the thread and absolutely fell in love with the designs, and I have the strongest urge ever to do one of those outfits for D-TAC even though it is just over a month away and I know I don't have enough time to do it. :S Hopefully ordering the mesh and starting on Saturn's bodysuit will subside it.

Hmmm well. Now. Some of the artwork she appears orange/tanned some of the artwork she looks yellow and some of the artwork she looks pink. So I will probs be normal face - Actually I always have foundation and setting powder, which is kinda on the sun tanned shade. Then I would go with light/nude colour sheer tights/pantyhose for the legs. ^_^

Pluto's tanned-ness has made me want to cosplay as her as more often than not I'm slightly tanned myself, but I feel like I'd be turning my back on dear Hotaru if I did Pluto first... plus the wig that I'd need to get for Pluto realy scares me. I'm not very good with wigs in general, and I have no idea where to start looking for her wig because it's such a strange hair colour to begin with. :S

I totally can't wait to see you pull her off though Ranma, I'm sure you will look amazing.

I have just started up the Pluto Album so you can have a sneek peek how it is going to look. I knabbed a makeup test pic for the Pluto icon until I get proper pics but I think she will look something like that..I will buy some long extensions to make her ponytail and maybee add just a few wefts of green into the main piece - I've heard bad things about hair colouring sprays so I will be happy to just have a few streaks of green to give a green/black appearence - thats the plan anyway.

And you can preview ma sexy booties I am using for a base for Plu. Need to add just some small extensions which will peak at the front, and I have some black patent vinyl already so...

I just finished Human Luna and debuted her at Aki-con this last weekend.

Argh, just been back from the most boring Geography trip ever...

Anyway...

@Princess Serenity/ Neo Queen Serenity issue: I used Crepe back Satin for the top and underskirt and covered the skirt with georgette so it wasn't all satin. Looked really nice against the shiny pearly beads and the gold PVC that I used along side it.

@Sailor Pluto issue: Sailor Pluto seems to change her skin colour an awful lot. So I think anyone from being completely light skinned to dark skinned would suit Pluto. She's just one of those characters that anyone can pull off.

@Amidoji: Woah! Lovely Serenity dress. The flow of the dress is absolutely gorgeous! Obviously what's missing is the white rings, but like you said, it's only 90% done. You even have the detail of the bodice complete. You're wig is perfect also. I find it hard to to point out any faults because there really isn't any in my point of view I hope you get it finished!!
