I totally forgot about gloves, I hate gloves, I suck at them x_x anyone have a good tutorial on Making a good glove pattern? And maybe tips on sewing them?
Also, on ESM she has rigid white piece that come out from the rolls on her gloves, how on earth would one go about, a) Attaching them? and b) keeping them from being floppy?

I bought base gloves and just added the tops by cutting a square of fabric, and using foam rolls. I have to sew them together and attach velcro so the can come on and off.

well guys i have made a sailor moon costume...i made it way to small but i made one ^.^
It go's without saying if i am making something for someone else it turns our flawless if i amke it for me...well it turns out way to small. on another note my baby sister wanted one to match mine. I made it for her and then she said since i didn't use my silk or satin to make it that it wasn't pretty enough. T.T

That's why I make my own gloves. It'a ctually pretty simple and you get the hang of making them after a while. My arms are super skinny so no gloves bought online would fit.

I would slap her. Little kids piss me off Sooo much. They take for granted everything.
/avoids personal rant but has almost the same issue minus the pretty thing.

I made my mock up-pattern for my armour for moon yesterday. I have to finish all my costumes and my boyfriends within two weeks.

Normally I would buy them but since I want my materials/tones to match I gotta' make um', hopefully I can do this now xD Thanks for the link =)

I'm going about it with using a sphere shaped mold and casting them from Rubber/Silicon so they flex but hold their shape.
But that's just me, I know a lot of people prefer to use fabric and do an actual 'puff', in which case I have very little experience, seeing as I did it once 3 years ago.

Not Sailor Moon or the best photo but this was my end result. I made a 'D' shaped pattern piece for each sleeve and gathered them at the top and sewed them into the top. I'd recommend using elastic in the hem of the sleeve to help it stay 'puffed', which I did not do and should have with mine.
