I feel so excited about tonight, but first I want to thank lunaladyoflight for
suggesting to email usagi_411 on Ebay about the Sailor Moon Odango Gems.

As I purchased a pair and got an email confirmation about shipping them to Canada.

I love them

I ust hair ties to hold mine onto my wig. The gems come with bobby pins in the back but I just slip hair ties into the pins and place those around the odangos. I need to buy more blonde ones too because I'm wearing all those and need them for the odangos ^.^

ooo for Saturn's Glaive, for the staff part I'd suggest maby getting some dowling or a wooden curtain rod (or a broom stick would probably work) for the blade I'd suggest using something like wonderflex

v^.^ Can't wait to see you at AN!

Yay ^^ I can't wait to see you!! I wanted to take a try at making one of the senshi's princess gown, but I don't have any good pictures of them.and I don't necesseraly want to wear a wig >< since it'll probably be a bit hot in the ball room with alot of people in there, think I'd get killed?

If not..welllll I think I will make my glaive, well the staff part of it with a long broom stick or I'll go at the Reno-Depot or Home Hardware close to my house n look for a stick of wood that could do the trick. For the blade,WOnderflec if too expensive for me.

Also, for the frilly pretty carvings on the glaive, how do I do those?

Never gather a senshi's shirt. Gathering will make you hips look HUGE. Just pleat it or let it fall. Don't forget it's usually 1.5 circles or more.

So, here are a couple of jpg's and links of the senshi's princess gowns
I found you. I am missing sm_senshi_princess3 that had Princess Jupiter
and Princess Venus, but I guess these will have to do. Well, I don't think
there is any rule that says you have to wear a wig in a ballroom, I know
when I attend my first masqurade ball in April I may or may not wear my wig.

Anyway I hope all my pictures of the sailor senshi(inner and outter) give
you an idea of what princess dress you are looking for. Maybe something
else, too. Till than check it out and comment about these pic's if you wish.

^^ Thank you!

I was thinking of doing Mars' red gown or Saturn's gown from the last picture you posted! They are very very pretty!

It depends what version of the senshi skirts you're doing. Personally I think the Eternal and the SeraMyu skirts look nice gathered. In fact I gathered my Jupiter skirt which is why I mentioned it. For regular and super though I would definitely agree and pleat the skirt.

I read that wood work's best and spray painting it with silver metallic paint.

I honestly have no idea. It's not a rave dance, like the J-Pop dance, its more of an elegant formal dance, which is why we have to have the fancy formal dresses. I hope it's not too crowded...my dress has wings T_T

I wont be going to AN this year, but I will be at SakuraCon. The ideas I'd have to make a glaive everyone seems to have suggested already though^-^
