Locations in Orange County, CA

Anyone have any location ideas for photo locations in OC? Ideally I'm looking for locations with an ideal "urban" type of background.... which is difficult to find around here =P

Urban...? Oh god, good luck XD;; I lived in Dana Point for awhile.

All i can think of is Laguna Beach, theres some pretty urbanized houses if you look around. Maybe go to Long Beach?

I don't think you can find anywhere with a truely city feel unless you make the drive up to LA.

You could try downtown fullerton or downtown brea or downtown anaheim. Those north county cities are looking more and more like LA every year.

Like Alexai mentioned, Laguna Beach would be good. Downtown area has so many buildings and interesting shops. Downtown San Clemente too, but it's not as big. Irvine area like the Irvine Spectrum Mall, Newport Beach, and Fashion Island? (Although somehave a more beach like feeling). Even some areas in Dana Point. Downtown San Juan Capistrano by the mission is interesting too; there's a train station there. Costa Mesa is much more city like, and fullerton along with anaheim which Fremen posted.

Try around Costa Mesa. There's some interesting architecture around the Orange County performing arts center, across from South Coast Plaza. In particular, a footbridge between the two that comes to mind.

There's also some rather harsh looking industrial areas around the Santa Ana Civic Center and the courthouse. Umm... watch out for your camera there though.

Huntington beach has a cool abandoned warehouse with a train tracks and even an off shoot for trains to get onto the warehouse to unload.

Here is the place from a shot I got a year ago.
