hello~
so this is my first time posting in the "cosplay construction" forums and i don't know if this is the right place to post this or not but...yeah :P

*cough* anywayy, so i'm gonna be cosplaying Jasmine from Pokemon and i'm going to be making my own costume. I found some patterns that might work but i'm not sure. so since there are many seasoned costume makers here i wanted to run my ideas by y'all and see if i'm going in the right direction :P

So..i'm thinking make the green dress with one of those patterns then using gathering stitches to sew the bottom ruffle part to it. Then for the cardigan...i'll probably go buy a cardigan :P but then i'll have to make that bow (which i have no idea how i'm going to do xD;; ) and sew it onto the cardigan so it can hook and close the cardigan.

so yeah, just let me know if you think this will work and any tips or tricks will be greatly appreciated~
btw i'm pretty novice at sewing but i just completed a costuming course so i partially know what i'm doing lol and i just got a sewing machine that i'm still figuring out (my bobbin keeps barfing on me :c)
