Okay, so I am going to get a whole bunch of Bodyline Dresses, JSKs and skirts for christmas. But I have NO idea how their sizing works. I make most of my loli so I am a newbie at buying. Help??

The measurements are on every item's page.. just refer to those when trying to pick out your dresses. Some come in just one size but some come in multiple sizes, it just depends.

Measure yourself in centimeters (bust, waist, shoulder to knee for dress length etc), then match your measurements against those listed for the garment. Every garment will have it's own measurements listed. Pretty much every lolita brand has each garments size listed like this.

I was looking at it again, taking measurements and such. The measurements are REALLY weird. Anyone have trouble with sizing.

And another thing slightly off topic: when they say "polyester, others" Do you think it would be shiny??

Well first of all, make sure you're measuring correctly. Here's a pretty good idea of which measurement is which: http://www.threadsintime.net/sitebui...asurements.jpg There also might be a range of sizes to accommodate for shirring in the back, so as long as you fit in that range you should be fine.

Probably not. If the picture makes it look shiny, it probably is. But Bodyline has been pretty good about non-shiny things.

kk Thanks. I am worried fitting might be a little hard for me. Luckly I have sewing skills so if something is to big I can fix it

If you are really worried about fit, buy shirred items. They give a lot of wiggle room and can help some items fit very nicely. I own the Cat & Window print OP size M in black and the shirring allows me to fit in it comfortably. It's a wonderful dress

Most of their items are not shiny, but as Meiki said, if it's shiny in the posted picture, then it's shiny in real life. And pay attention to length measurements if you are tall; I went to their store in Osaka and was shocked by how short a lot of the skirts were on me!

xD Being tall. Not a problem. If anything some of their stuff I too tall for me. Yeah, nothing I wanted was shiny in the picture (except the ring )
