off topic:
the military doesn't pay well unless you stay in for a long time and climb the command chain. if you fail in boot camp and end up as bottom rung boots on the ground... well gas stations or flipping burgers pay more. those jobs don't have the health care, but i don't know many 19 year olds who are worried about that

i said it in the lover's topic. being single can be a blessing and doesn't necessarily mean you're alone. that's what good friends are for

You clearly think that cosplay.com is your own personal counselling service and seem genuinely surprised that people react in this way to you. But cosplay.com isn't about dating, about how alone you are or about how messed up your self-esteem is, it's about cosplay. I've yet to see you make a post that doesn't refer to your unending lonliness yet and, yes, that is annoying.

Not everyone has an opinion on princess seams or whether someone should cosplay Character X or Character Y, some have problems that they wish they could vent about to anyone who would listen, but you know what these people do?

Really just sums it up. You'd think having cosplay in the bleeding site address would be a good indicator that this place is about cosplay.

But kuroki-chan, if you really are desperate for a snogging just go to a club, get pissed and dance it up, grind with the locals and snatch a few lips along the way, It's not that hard.

This is the Off-Topic Forum. This thread was a valid discussion, and I don't mind it going off topic, as off-topic threads going off-topic is common.

Actually, joining the military seems to do quite a bit for the self-esteem of some. I wouldn't, personally (mostly because 1/3 of female soldiers will be raped whether by their fellow soldiers or in combat, and that's a big fear of mine,) but I have a friend who is actually a lot like you, and the military gave him quite a confidence boost.

And it pays for your college.
