What kind of wig would I need to do these?

Kid Gohan:

I want to cosplay Kid Gohan with the head wrap thing, but I want it to actually look kind of messy and spiky around the wrap. Plus I would need the little ponytail in the back.

I love how this cosplayer pulled off the hair around the goggles. Any idea on how I could do that?

I mostly need to know what would be the best style and length of wigs and then how to create them to look nice. Thanks!

I think Arda Wigs' Magnum would work really well. Maybe their Magnum XL.

Actually I'm thinking the Jareth as it's long enough to pull into a short ponytail in the back and long enough up top to spike for up and around the wrap.
