The few kinds of cakes I like aren't really 'traditional' cakes. Boyfriends mom makes something called Kahlua cake which is very nice, but it has straight up liquor in it and as such I tend to get headaches from it if I eat too much. (i am allergic to wine.lolderp)
The other kind is Jello-Cake. Which is white cake with holes poked it in and unset jello drizzled on top making a marble effect inside the cake. It's frosting with cool whip and halved strawberries. If I wanted sprinkles my mom let me put it on as a kid.

I like Kahlua (assuming you're talking about the coffee liqueur), but I've never seen it made into a cake before....
Carrot cake is best cake.

I am not familiar with Trifle D: but it was there in the google search for it and looks just like what his mom makes SO THERE. PSHT.
I like chocolate cake alright, but I prefer white cake with chocolate frosting.
