I hadn't had SpaghettiOs for the longest time, not since I was a little kid. A few months ago, I decided to try some, the kind with the hotdog pieces in it, just for the heck of it. So I ate it, and it was delicious! I wondered why I hadn't had them for so long. Now I eat a can of SpaghettiOs for lunch once a week or so.

So I had a bunch of leftover turkey and some extra leftover vegetables... so I tried making soup from scratch (only added thing was a bit of bouillon cube for a bit more broth flavouring). Turkey, bit of chicken bouillon, green onion, red sweet pepper, baby carrot cut into tiny chunks, some spaghetti broken into small pieces (didn't have any small "soup" pasta like pearl barley), a bit of spice, and OHMAGAWD. A SLAVE TO CAMPBELL'S NO LONGER.

I recently got an injector which was technically designed for basting, but it's absolutely perfect for injecting doughnuts (before I'd been using icing bags, which were hard to measure with and tended to start leaking)!

So far I've made batches of custard and orange curd doughnuts with it, but I think I'll be able to make them with ALL the things! =3

Shit, we never did have corned beef around St. Patrick's Day.

We did, however have a heavenly roasted chicken the other day. So succulent and fall-off-the-bone. Mmmmm...

Anyone planning tasty things for Easter dinners?
I'm trying my hand at duck a'lorange, here, and the boyfriend's baking brownies. Wish me luck, mainly in finding sherry vinegar for the sauce.

I have to stop reading the Games of Thrones cookbook we have, as the meats that recipes call for are too costly and hard to obtain.

Boar, quail, and I guess rabbit-- those are the only ones that are sort of unusual and you probably need to go to a butcher or specialty store. Maybe the escargot. I was looking through it this morning and just about everything else is beef, chicken, pork, and fish that you could get pretty much anywhere. JUST SAYIN'.

Also duck eggs and crickets. I've been meaning to take a ride down to that specialty deli in Brooklyn anyway.

I'd like to do something with that pork loin tomorrow. Looking up recipes tonight.

Want my recipe? It makes a fantastically juicy and fantastically-seasoned roast.

Sure, I'd like that PM'd. Thank you. Even if I don't use it on this one, I'll be sure to do it in the future.

I have been eating Cutie tangerines like, all day, I just love tangerines! Cuties are small and sweet and seedless. I still like my Grandparents' home grown ones a bit more though, because they are so loose-skin and easier to peel than even Cuties! It's like, once you puncture into the skin, you literally can just slide/rip it off, so nice.

Also for the first time in my life, I ate some Willy Wonka Fun Dips. They were 3 dollars for 24 of them at Wal-Mart, and my mom got them for me because I was like "what are fun dips? and she was like "you've never had them?" so she got me some, yay!

Trying to eat healthy lately, I've been eating more chicken and cutting back on Monster. Then I caved and had the Xtra Bacon Burger from Hardees. =[
