Got to pretty much cut out soda and chocolate from Easter to Costume-Con, which is the week after. And what did Dad do? Mail me an enormous chocolate bunny. X_X And then I just HAD to cave in on a big sale on six-packs of pepsi, which gives me nasty acne. The next two weeks will not be fun.

I just tested out a tart tin I got for Christmas; http://fav.me/d7e6ih5

8 apples are still part of your 7 a day when they've been flavoured with brandy, right?

I just picked my sister and mom up from the airport. They came back from a visit to my dad in abu-dhabi. My sis brought 4 boxes of 16 oreo packages to hand around in school and she brought for me an 8 pack of double creme oreos. Why can't we have such things here in the Netherlands...
(we only got regular and choco covered ones here, and then in small boxes/packages)

Been eating a lot of peanut butter and banana sandwiches lately. I also give some peanut butter to my dog.

Made some CAFFEINATED fudge brownies with caffeine sugar from ThinkGeek. One brownie gives you the buzz of a can of Mountain Dew. Glad I bought two bags too, cause it doesn't look like they're selling it anymore. :[

My daughter was invited to a birthday party today for the daughter of one of my husband's friends. They had beef stew and menudo! I haven't had menudo in so long and it was some of the best I've ever had. That's on my list of things I want to learn how to make.

OMG I am so stuffed!!

Just made some bread rolls (because I haven't made any plain bread for ages). Now everything smells amazing!

I made my own "hamburger helper" with ground bison, leeks and Annie's shell shaped macaroni and cheese yesterday.

It was a nice, quick and really satisfying lunch and now the rest of it is a snack today.

I cooked twice the amount of spaghetti I should have. Looks like I'm making spaghetti again in four days! Can you freeze cooked pasta or will it still keep for two weeks if I give it a fast boil to soften it back up after a few days?

I wanted to make some ginger cake, but I was nearly out of sugar.

...so I went and did it more traditionally with treacle instead: http://fav.me/d7gyv4u
