Though I had thought Mr. Moose said he was leaving us. We had tofu sandwiches with carmelized onions and mushrooms. It was delicious. |

I've been craving real, home made mac 'n cheese since before Easter.
Unfortunately all I got was baked ziti, which was still really good. And I made mac 'n cheese from a box today because I want macaroni in gooey cheesy goodness and was kind of disappointed but....food is food. I'm making my mom make me mac 'n cheese soon. She will. :| I should also probably tell her that I need her to make cookies for us to eat and analyze during anatomy on Friday. (Studying the digestive system) |

I had meatloaf, a baked potato and corn for dinner.
It was pretty good for meatloaf. Right now I'm eating tomato basil cheese (also known as "illogical cheese") on ritz crackers so I can take my bedtime dose of antibiotic.

I was feeling nostalgic when I was in the grocery store today, so I bought some ice wafers when I was in the cookie aisle (my grandmother always had them at her house).
I've almost eaten the entire package .___. soooo addictive!

My lovely came home with steak tonight, so we had that and mashed potatoes, good, old fashioned tastiness. I can't cook meat to save my life, so I just made the potatoes xD and it was all delicious
![]() Oh, then cheesecake after, but it was cherry =/ which is good, but we wanted strawberry. Oops.

I thought that, but "waste of time" implies a failure. I achieved what I set out to do (i.e. make croissants), they just weren't worth the effort.

Last night, the Hubby and I went out to eat at a BBQ restraunt called Logan's Roadhouse. I had their baby back ribs. OMG! They were so tender and juicy, the meat just fell right off the bone. I also had sweet potato fries and grilled vegetables on the side.
My husband had the country fried steak with gravy and mashed potatoes and grilled vegetables on the side.

I'm going to make some arepas.
Why? Because I FEEL LIKE IT! And it's easy.

![]() By the way, do you guys get much in the way of Latin American food up there in Canada? So far, the Mexican food I've had up here hasn't been bad at all. I'm wondering if it's an unfair stereotype.

I made spaghetti with garlic and olive oil last night. I usually don't like pasta, but I think I must have channeled my great-Nany... I can't get enough of it! So glad I made extra.

It's kinda funny actually; at least in this part of Canada, there's not many Mexicans (and I think where authentic Mexican food is concerned where I live, there's one authentic restaurant, and it's small. To compare, there's twenty Vietnamese/Thai/Cambodian restaurants, three Portuguese bakeries, and several Middle-Eastern restaurants. And of course innumerable Chinese and Indian food.). BUT, there are plenty of Latinos from other Central/South American countries (Uruguay, Brazil, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, etc.). I'm kinda curious as to why it's like that. It's kinda weird.
