Okay, so I need contacts for This lovely character here. It's kinda a fandom headcanon that his eyes are red, so I want something in a really bright red that'll show up on mid-brown eyes.
Any recommendations? I'm likely to need a visit to the optometrist before I even start looking, is it a good idea to just go to like, walmart/target optical and get measured for contacts, then buy them online? Or should I spend the extra money to go to a real optometrist and buy them there? Will all optometrists be able to order color contacts?
Right now I have proper glasses, but I don't NEED them all the time. So the contacts can be prescription or non prescription. If I wanted to get prescription, should I order online or just at the docs?
Thanks for the help!

Step 1: Totally worth going to your optometrist/Walmart to get formally fitted for contact lenses regardless of whether you buy them there or online. You need to know what base curve/diameter you need. That and the eye checkup + lesson on handling contacts etc. are worth the visit. If interested in getting natural colors, you could also print out those free trial certificates and get some while you are there.
https://www.acuvue.com/free-trial-form-teen
http://www.freshlookcontacts.com/htm...rial_form.html

Step 2: Ask what they have available. If you see something in their catalogs that you like, it is an easy way to do a first-time purchase plus they may be able to get promotional pricing for you and usually you go home with some freebies too.

If you do not see something you like, you could try
https://www.pinkyparadise.com/Venus_...bright-red.htm
https://www.pinkyparadise.com/Vassen...0-ruby-red.htm
https://www.pinkyparadise.com/Vassen...y-plus-red.htm
https://www.pinkyparadise.com/EOS_Ne...5-j203-red.htm
https://www.pinkyparadise.com/Super_...bright-red.htm

And for a wine red, which almost looks closer to your ref pic
https://www.pinkyparadise.com/Venus_...e-wine-red.htm
https://www.pinkyparadise.com/Super_...pinky-wine.htm

Step 3: Once you have your prescription and either order with your doctor's office or online, you have that information so you can order in the future.

Does anyone have a recommendation for some non-prescription ivory color contacts? I've checked Honey Color AND Pinky Paradise and most of them are either too grey or too brown. I need them to look as close to this as possible: http://img812.imageshack.us/img812/8804/14bpbpw.jpg

These are great but unfortunately Pinky doesn't have any non-prescription, and the last time I bought Vassen lenses they were really uncomfortable: https://www.pinkyparadise.com/Vassen...kirei-grey.htm

So I've been looking for a pair of dark blue lenses to cosplay Kisara from YuGiOh (here is the clearest picture of her eyes I could find)
The problem I'm having is that I cannot find a pair that is both the right color AND vibrant enough. Her eyes are her defining characteristic so I really want them to pop, but I also want them to be as accurate as possible. Plano lenses are fine, but a -.50 would be ever better. Any ideas?

I'm planning on getting pink lenses with the design "hanabi pink", but there are two different brands, Vessen and iFairy which seem to sell the same design and look similar. Which is better?
Also, which website is more reliable? lensvillage.com or pinkyparadise.com?

Pinkyparadise. I bought my lens like only last weekend and it came in yesterday. They ship from a different country and still manage to get the contacts here so fast. And when something is out of stock, they email you right away and are very helpful. I trust them, A LOT.

As for which brand is better, I have no idea. I hope someone else can help you with that.

If you have some disposable income, I think hands-down the best option is Solotica Hidrosummer Gloss lenses in Amarelo

Solotica is made in Brazil and there are several sites that sell them at various prices like http://www.paranalentes.com/ As far as comfort etc, I've never tried them but the reviews I have seen are positive.

You might consider Vassen Cloud Nine in blue. They are a very royal blue that is noticeable w/ script available.

I'll be doing Eren Jaeger and I was wondering if anyone knew of any good contacts for this? I have dark brown eyes so It's kinda hard to find good lenses ;w; They're also like a green blue? I have green contacts and blue contacts and neither looks quite right.

Venus lenses sort of have that aqua-ish look and a similar pattern too. What do you think?

Hm, well they look pretty good, but generally I like to see other customer reviews before buying, ideally someone wearing them.

Google is your friend for that.
This guy bought all the Venus lenses and posted pics/reviewed. It's a start http://reflectionsofgregg.blogspot.c...1_archive.html

Hmm...I think the color may be a tad too blue with not enough green?

I hope I'm doing this right XD I'm trying to perfect one of my newest costumes, Karuta from Inu x Boku ss. But I can't seem to find a pair of contacts. I need them in a perscription(-3.00 to be exact I believe). But the color is what's bothering me. Can anyone help direct me to a pair of contacts?

Ion, thanks for being such an awesome resource on this forum for the past few years.

Does anyone make white mesh lenses with prescriptions built in? My vision is quite poor without my prescription lenses.

I asked my optometrist and they said theirs (from Crazy Eyes or something) are prescription-less, unfortunately.
